Whakapapa (Family Tree)

Description: on Tuesday afternoons some people go to kapa haka and some don't go to kapa haka if you don't then you would have been learning about your whakapapa or your family tree my one is pretty big you can do it on a piece of paper or on a device my one is on a device 

Maori then English name 

 

Māmā/Mum  Pāpā/Dad  Pepi/Baby  teina/younger sibling  tuakana/older sibling for a boy that's just the basics

Description: Last week on Tuesday russell street school went 2 camp el rancho and did ten activities here are 3 air rifels,archery and a waterslide there are 7 more activities my favourite dish was nachos and jelly with ice cream the first activitie I did was rafting here is some of my camp diary

One word 2016

Description:in poutama we all wanted to choose a one word my one is practice a one word is one word just one and you make it your one word and you have to practice on your one word my one word is practice because I want to practice and get better at everything. All of poutama wanted to make a tweets about our one word. Also Elly took a photo of us holding imaginary signs. Poutama made signs with there one word on it

Description: In class poutama chose to learn about the three types of listening. Me 2, active and busy my group (Camden,Sophie B & I) did active and me 2 listening here is a video of our listening examples.

P.S. Yes it is called conflict just got confused 😜

Big idea: Me 2 listening witch is when someone's interrupts the speaker when there talking and the person goes on about something else.👎🏻, Active listening is when you have eye contact and you can start talking when they stop talking, and you can ask questions.👍🏻, Busy listening is when one person is doing something like using a device reading a book ect ect ect.

Waitangi Day Work

Description: on Tuesday the 9th of February Poutama had a choice to make something to explain about the treaty of waitangi we did this because it was waitangi day on saturday I chose minecraft because I thought that I could plop down information easy but as a challenge because I normally build small little houses instead because I wanted a challenge.

This is what we have got so far

Big idea: in minecraft we we have made a two way quiz you can choose left or right and they look the same we made bits in between the questions. I have learnt that the treaty was signed on 1840 in waitangi by over 500 chiefs 

Feedback: I think your world is really good because you put a lot of effort into it and it is completely the opposite of bad!!

Feedfoward: well there is not much you can do better

Evaluation: I think that I could do the work faster on the building the quiz dropper it was challenging because I normally make small little builds not the ones like my one. I think I am in between uni and multi. I am in AU.
