Pop Art Portfolio post

Description: in class every Thursday we do pop art or drama.I am in pop art. Pop art was popular in the 1950's. It is art with bright,contrasting colours. You vivid on the pencil and its eye catching. 2 artists are: Andy Warhol who did Campbell's soup and Roy Lichtenstein.

Big idea: we made our pop art by: choosing a logo/badge and making a stencil I chose the Arsenal badge and tracing it four times like my image. Make sure you have four separate boxes. Now what
you need is to add the detail and paint with bright colours.

Evaluation: I think I could use brighter colours and making the dark green brighter

Description: In writing im writing about fishes and everyone else in Troy's writing so I'm in Troy's writing were learning about sentences Rebecca is doing words and Kate is doing ideas. I am learning complex sentences. Here is my writing.

Production post

Description: in class we have been making costumes for production RSS have been looking at ōra (life), poutama have been looking at emelemts, heroes and villains and out of Africa. I'm in elements with Troy we have to choose out of : Fire,Water,Earth and Air, I'm fire.

My next goal is: To finish the papier-mâché layers and paint the mask and paint the circle on my smock and attache my flames to a shirt and paint flames on the tip of my shoes 

This is my finished garment.




1) The materials that I used to create my garment were: corigated card,paper mache,card,tape and material

2) The most challenging thing about production for me was: the smock because I was painting most sides and had to wait for it to dry then paint it again 

3) One way I demonstrated a growth mindset during production was: when I was painting and I wanted to stop but I didn't 

4) Something I am really proud of about production was: my mask 

5) Our school vision is to create agency, creativity and excellence. I showed this by: making everything look creative and I worked really hard on it

Reading portfolio post

 Description: in reading you are either summarising or questioning, I'm in questioning so we can do an option of 9 different activities I chose the awnser is iPad we had to do 10-20 questions I only did 10 because I got stuck on questions.




Big idea:

I did 10 questions because I got stuck on questions to ask about iPads and I got distracted and off task to getting 20 done in the end I think I could of done 20 questions if I was on task and not distracted

Evaluation: I think I like my qusetions but i think I can work on going for 20 and making it better with not just words but a picture too.
